1. Setup
The game starts with four pieces in the center of the 8×8 board. Black moves first.
2. Flank to capture
Place a piece so one or more of your opponent's pieces are sandwiched in a straight line between the new piece and another of yours. Every move must capture at least one piece.
3. Flip every direction
A move flips lines in all 8 directions at once — horizontal, vertical, and diagonal. Captured pieces switch to your color.
4. No moves? Pass
If you have no legal capture, your turn is skipped automatically and your opponent plays again.
5. Winning
The game ends when neither player can move. Whoever has more pieces on the board wins; equal counts are a tie.
